Pre-Course Survey

Course Overview:

There are two blocks in the course
1.
The first block (Week 1-4) will mainly focus on exploring your favorite tourist spots in London through using the Pinterest, article, videos, and online websites. In the end of the Block one, you will need to create a Flip book introducing your favorite tourist spots in London!

2.
The second block (Week 5-6) is built upon the assignment (Flip book) created in the block 1. The second block aims to carry out your plan by planning the possible routes, mainly the transportation part. You will need to vote for 4 best flip books and work as a group (4 group in total, each is responsible for one day of the trip) to plan the routes for your classmates. Googlemap and mobile apps (maps. me, TubeMap, CityMapper, UK Bus Checker) will be accessed. In the end of the Block two, each group will be required to produce a travel brochure combining the route and the introduction of the tourist spots. (Video version is also welcome!) Besides producing the travel brochure, each group is required to make a presentation through Skype. The presentation mainly focuses on the reasons why you decide to plan the route in this way. You will receive the peer and teacher's feedback after presentation.
